What are people using for the switch to activate electric fans?? [Archive]

What is a desirable temp for the fans to kick on? 170? 180? I can't seen to locate the switch I bought,so a new one is in order.

One of my fans kicks on at 190 and the other I kick on and off manually when more cooling is needed. I run a 180 stat

i beleive mine is on at 185 and off at 170
