Hey big Buick guys and gals - here is your chance to have some fun against your own kind! This will be similar to the gamblers race, where each car entered will need to pony up $20 to get in. We basically need to create our own prize money. I am personally donating $200 to the pot just to get it started. The race will take place on Friday evening around 6 or 6:30pm. No need to sign up, but it would be cool to see who is interested in doing this.

EDIT: I changed my mind. Sportwagons are now included on the list. It's all for fun, right!? Maybe a couple dollars:laugh:

Adam, I like the idea of the big cars battling it out. My suggestion is to see how many cars you get and if you really want to increase the pot or would like to get X number of cars, then open it up to the "other" wagons. I'm available (and it looks as though Beth is too) if needed!

I'm in if the car is ready.

So how does this work, is this a bracket race or by et??? :Do No:

Better have a light centurion. I don't have a radio or cruise! :puzzled:

Sportys are in. I guess I had a brain fart:laugh:

Rob, My car lacks every luxury option except AC. It's pretty light:Brow: Get to work on that car so you can beat on it!

Oh, it's bracket style...heads up would be stupid.

Us on the other side of everything wants VIDEO from the Nick/Adam duel. And then another video of the winner against Yardley. It sure would be fun to see the battle of the boats in person, or even better, participate.

Thanks to those who participated in the Big Boat Buick Challenge today. It was too cool to see the yachts battle it out for the title! We managed to raise $370 for the winners, and were scheduled to pay out 80% to 1st place and 20% to 2nd place.

Winner: Paul Cassidy - 70 Sportwagon
Runner Up: Nick Rabi - 72 Centurion Convertible

They ended up splitting the pot evenly. Thanks for a great race, guys!:beer

That Adam Martin guy keeps running out of fuel half track and can't seem to make a complete pass without nosing over. I ran a 13.99 with fuel starvation issues.

Ouch! That sounds frustrating. Maybe an electric booster pump? :Do No:

Yep, I will be addressing the issue when I get home. Hopefully, I can fix it and get some runs in at Gateway this Fall.
