I had a 2.56:1 Buick 10 bolt originally, and I found it cheaper and easier to just swap the whole rear end out.
A Chevy, Olds, or Poncho complete rear end designed for a coil spring setup in a '68 to '72 A body will work as a swap.
I put a 12 bolt Chevy 3.31:1 positraction rear in my car, only thing I needed was the correct rear u-joint.
If you intend to make a posi rear out of a non-posi rear, I beleive there is a kit you need to buy to convert it.
Chevy's ok. Thank God they made so many Chevelles, we'd never get chassis parts for our A-bodies!

Well like I said, I think there's a kit to change the axles to a chevy type, but other than that, I just don't know.
You'd think somebody would chime in with a yes or no, I guess the right person hasn't seen this yet.
