Very Cool, And to think that's all happening in the Netherlands.

Kenny,

The Netherlands is also know as Holland, but when I'll use that name you lot might think it all took place in Michigan :)

The Netherlands is next to Germany and on the other side of the North Sea from England.

Here's a map:

Phil,

Didn't see him leaving the car through the windows, I bet the next thing will be 01 stickers on both doors?

(Dukes of Hazzard are still on re-wind on Dutch tv...:) )

Are you allowed foreign plates on your cars? You can get some original old plates for those things on ebay for about $20. That would really complete the look.

Phil,

We can put on foreign plates, but still have to use the Dutch plates as well.

So you will end up looking like a coast-to-coast Peterbilt with all those plates......:)

Erik very nice gathering of Buicks. Perhaps the bar on the Skylark is for bumping Fords out of the way.
Since my family's from Holland ,somewhere a long time ago, I'm always interested to hear and see anything from there.:TU:

Yes, that's me with the '71 skylark custom.
I'm still thinking about the meeting Erik!
Can you tell me the Dutch word of "bloke":puzzled:
What color do you do the respray?

Bart.

Dutch word for "bloke" is "gozer", in American English it'll be "guy"

Re-spray will be the same colour (not color :) ), I wanted to do a special paintjob in Blighty (that's England), but time is running out now.....

I remember when I was in Holland while in the Army. I guy who was with me, who was from Lawton, OK and had never left his home town, let alone the US was bumming.

We had gotten some local currency and were going to go out to a bar. He looked at the money and, I swear to God this is true, said "Aw Phil, they's been lyin' to us. They said we's in Holland. But this here money says we's in the Netherlands".

Like they say, fact is stranger than fiction.
