My 55 Buick Tourback Special 4 door

I NEED SOME HELP.

I am 17 and have been given a 55 special. Its the tourback model that came in 4 door.

It has quite a bit of surface rust and alittle bit of rust that has eaten through the body... i need to know what i can do to get rid of this??

i plan on restoring this as soon as i can.... ill post pictures of it when i can also....

Can anybody help me??

Ok...regarding help with your 55 Special. There are lots of qualified guys on this board, but I've noticed more of the uh, "classic" Buick guys hang out at the BCA forum. Here is the link:

Have oyu had any metal welding or restoration experience? This is a tough thing to do if you don't know the ropes yet...but that's what we're here for!

Feel free to post any question you like. Someone will be able to answer it in good time...and good detail.

no i havent had any metal restoration experince.... but my dad knows how to weld......
