Door will not open

Hey guys sorry if this is a repost, i remember seeing a thread a few months back about this, i searched for it and can not find it.

If anybody can link me to the thread or help me, that'd be great!

I have a 1971 Riviera, 2 door and the drivers side all the sudden will not open from the inside or the outside. i think a plastic tab on one of the rods may have broke when the door was shut, the lock knob on the door is loose and isn't connected to anything.

If there any way to get this door open? I can't take off the panel because the seat is in the way.
