:kodak: Anyone got pics of their cars (or other people's) from back when they were shiny and new? I've been looking for original photos online of the cars or dealerships, but I have hardly found anything but some old shots of racecars from the 70s.

Thanks for the tip, I've been scrolling through the pictures on that photobucket link above and have come up with one so far.

This one has a yellow '68 Skylark in the background.

I should've mentioned earlier that, like this picture, I'm always happy to get photos of Women with Buicks (Buick optional). :TU:

Check out the link to MoreSS (http://s158.photobucket.com/albums/t114/dog427435/MoreSS/) on the left, several Buicks there.

You will find loads of vintage photos in this Photobucket album (http://s158.photobucket.com/albums/t114/dog427435/) :Comp:

Only the main album already contains 2500 old car-related photos, I'm sure that you will find shots of new cars there :TU:

Check the sub-albums for more photos.......:bglasses:

Thanks for the lead Brandon. I went through and pulled out all the Buicks I could find. Although I had some trouble since most of the pictures are pre-muscle and outside my familiarity. I've attached all the Buicks I could find or the ones I thought were Buicks.
Keep 'em comin' if anyone has other leads.

Why didn't you make another post (to reach the ten posts limit to post URL's) and just copy & paste the Photobucket URL's ?
Now you are using the board's webspace to show the same photos....

Pretty much because I don't know how this works, though here's for #10 so I'll do it that way from now on.

Just go to HULU.com and watch some of the old Adam 12 episodes, tons of cool cars. They even had an episode where hookers were stealing muscle cars.

Rich! I must have not paid attention. Is that a pic of your project in its pre-project days?

Too Cool!

Early wheelie

Hah nice one. I like to think one of those on lookers went back to the plant to sketch up the first wheelie bars.

Here is a pic of my 1970 GS Stage 1 from April 1971. The original owner from Pottstown PA sent it to me. It looks the exact same today.

Well, except for the Ralley's. I have a set of steel wheels with dog dishes and trim rings I throw on now and then.

I've posted this one before, but what the heck. The car was 7-8 years old, but still in mint condition at the time.

Here's a couple of my white 70, both given by the original owner.
First picture take in 1972, note original tires.

Second (with boat) a few years later.

Wow, Dog dishes and trim rings? My first Skylark a 70 model post car had them and I thought someone had added them. My older brother bought it used in 73 and they were on it when he bought it.

BTW nice to met you in Gainesville Jim. I had the gold 72 and talked to for a while.

Find out where that pic was taken, and go back and get another pick of it now in that same location. That would be cool.

A few years ago I found a set of (6) negatives under the carpet in the trunk of the 75 Riviera. After developing they turned out to have the Riv pictured with former owners (I guess):
