I have a 73 Riv parts car thats been in my friends yard for years. We started stripping it today and noticed that is does have power windows but not full length armrests and the window switches are on the panels.
Are they the same as a 70-72 GS?

Window switches on the door panel = Standard interior.

The door panel mounted power window switches themselves should interchange with Skylarks & GS's back to '71. They will work on '70's, but will not have the correct look as GM changed (for '71 & later) from the early rounded power accessory switch style to the later rectangle/suare with 90degree corners (like the ones from your '73 Rivi).
The window regulator assemblies themselves will be different, but the actual power window motors should interchange, but label them as per side and front or back to be safe. I have been told before from an otherwise very knowledgable source that the only full-size GM cars with the same exact (as in "drop-in") power window regulator assemblies are the '69 - '70 Cadillac Coupe DeVille's, though the rear power window regulators will not interchange.
If you find a power window-equipped '70 - '72 Monte Carlo or '69 - '72 Pontiac Grand Prix, the power window regulators should completely interchange (front & back) as well as the wiring, etc., (except for the switches from the GP).

Does your 73 parts car have the cover that go on the end of the door pull straps? They push on with 2 pins. See the pic I uploaded.
Please let me know!

Louie,
The Power window regulators out of the Riviera won´t fit the GS.
The fit all GM Full Size 2dr hardtop car and many convertibles.
(LeSabre, Centurion, Eldorado, Catalina, nintyeight ....)
If you need the driver side PW switch, I have one.
It´s in good working condition.
And I would need the rear power window regulators (with or without motors) out of the Riv.
I converted my Centurion to PW. The front regulators are in, but the guy who sold me the setup sent my wrong rear regulators.
So maybe we can make a deal.
I send you my PW 4-switch and you make me an offe for the rear regulatos out of the Riv.
That would help me a lot.
