I have a 70 GS that has WE code 14X6 rally wheels. I believe that they are original to the car which has the F7 code. From the threads I have read it looks as though everybody prefers the WG wheels. Why would I want to switch to WG 15X7 rally wheels? In addition, my car has standard drum brakes but I am seriously considering adding front disc brakes. I don't know if my wheels are correct to accept discs. Any and all ideas would be welcomed..
Thanks, Bob.

Isnt F7 the 15" Rallyes?
Its up to you. If your car came factory with 14" rallyes and you like them, cool. The 15" chrome wheels in 1970 had a special offset to them. Later in the 1970 model year, they were coded "WG". They are very similar to other later year 15" chrome wheels and to a layman, they would look identical. The difference is slight. But guys with 1970 cars who want them to be 100% correct in their restorations, will get the correct offset wheels.
I think 15" Rallyes and G60 Polyglas tires on a GS look totally badass. But thats just me...

You have a lot more tire choices with 15" wheels. That is the best reason to switch.
