Kansas plant "build sheets"

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of Kansas build cars have the build sheet? I have several. Or is it just dumb luck. Also it seems that if I am scrapping out a beater skylark it is almost guaranteed to have the buildsheet stuffed in the rear seat back springs.

I've had one KC car (70 GS 350) and it had a build sheet

Both had multiple build sheets

My 70GS 350 had a build sheet stuffed in the rear seat however a mouse help relocate it. but found most in the rear seat.

My Hi Po Skylark convertible was preceded down the line by a Chevy El Camino and another Skylark buildsheet was followed by a Malibu. I had 2 build sheets for my car and one for the El Camino in the back seat. (Because the Elky had no rear seat??)

Lots and lots of buildsheets for a bunch of cars I don't have!! But hats off to the Kansas plant for giving me some entertaining reading material!

I recently purchased a 67' G.S. that is in need of the "full meal deal". And I have yet to find the sheet. I have the seats out, the headliner is out, and the glove box area is removed and stored. I am REALLY hoping it is above the fuel tank. The "little Mickies" hadn't gone into attack mode on this yet when I got it, and it only has 9700 miles on it(been parked since 71'). I haven't seen even the slightest trace of the buildsheet yet.............but............anywhere else to take a look ?

Kick panels are a good hidding place as are the door panels.

My GS350 (Kansas) has a buildsheet. The original owner found it so I can't say where it was located, but it is 100% intact.:TU:
