I'm not real familiar with the 55 frame layout. Do you have a pic of one of the front a-arms aired out and a shot of the back end aired out? Anything can lay frame. You just have to be crazy enough.

I have called several people they said i can use 2" drop spindles but it still wont lay frame i called almost everyone....i only have pic of the car dropped it should be on my profile but alot of people say its impossible for that type of car but im not going to give up...

Hey! sweet satin color. Not a huge fan on the wheels but they're not terrible either.

Can you look under it to see what is hitting? either the wheels are hitting the top of the wheel wells, or you have hit a limit or bump stop on the suspension.

You will need to get under the car to look. Either put the front wheels up on ramps and use jack stands under the rear axle and lower the car VERY carefully. You could take the wheels off and use jackstands under the rear to see what is hitting if it's not the wheels hitting the top of the well wells.

I have a hunch your wheels are rubbing under the wells.

to drop an additional distance it may take a ton of work and $$. (drop spindles Z cutting the rear frame, channeling the body reworking the underside of the wheel wells.

The rear i know it will have to be notched out but in the front there is still about 6" left it just bottoms out but willing to pay to get it to lay frame...or if someone can build me something for the front to drop all the way down....

I apologize for barging in on your thread but I'm a newbie, with a lot of questions, and I don't know how to post a question to the board. Could someone help me out?

By god I think you just did it!

Go to the main menu then pick the area that you want to post in, like say wet behind the ears. When the list of threads comes up it should have something like start a new thread listed at the top.

can't tell you whats wrong unless you take a front and rear wheel off, support the suspension, and take detailed pics of the front and rear suspension from 3 different angles (no air). I've bagged everything from Chevy trucks to an old Mercedes...anything can be done. Just takes money & time.
