Hi guys,

Here are some pictures of my 1972 GS 455 Stage 1 4-Speed that Scott Miller and I refer to as one of 101 plus one (clone)

Most of the credit on the development of this car goes to Scott Miller. I bought this car a while back and it has been a blast to own and drive. I just added some of my own touches to a already great car like a 3:42 posi , N.O.S. correct carburetor , dual underdrive pulleys , short console and some small cosmetic improvements.

Scott took a 72 GS 350 bench seat automatic and changed it to a car that even the Buick people need to see the V.I.N. to tell that is one of 101 plus one. Hope all you all enjoy this.

Thanks Chris, I bought the 1984 Buick wagon for $150.00 and did a complete frame off restoration. I pulled the 3.0 V6 and installed a 3.8 V6. I Overhauled the trans with performance clutches and a light shift kit, install factory style dual exhaulst, F-41 front sway bar, ralley dash with gauges and a factory tachometer, Park Avenue material for the seats, Its a special ordered car. I saved this car from its maker because it sat on a repair shop lot with a locked up engine ready to go some where no Buick lover want them to go. So if you hear a 20 year old Buick wagon sounding a lot like a Grand National running in the fast lane its probably me. IDOXLR8  AL

Thanks Dan, I at one time I had red cars. Tha GS was always green and the Corvette was gold and I decieded to change it back to the orginial color (British Green). Come on back a little later I'll show you some before shots. IDOXLR8 AL :eek2:

Very Nice AL,
Don't go burning rubber and all that good stuff because Tony has the same Maryland plate "stage 1' in regular tags on his 70 "Stage 1".
I didn't think they would issue the historic with the same "stage 1 ' We have "stage 2" historic on the wagon and "GSX" regular plates on the "X". Maybe we need to get a picture of all the cars together with the plates.

Great car! This is the smartest man on the planet. They should have made more Stage 1s and 4 speeds , but why don't we just make more? I'm tired of seeing cloned Yenkos and Hemis at Barrett-Jackson for stupid money. Or how about the guy at your local dragstip with a $10,000 engine in an 88' Mustang?I mean what's the point? As long as the owners are upfront about the numbers and no one is being deceived, I say keep 'em coming. "When better automobiles are built, we'll build 'em" . We all know the demand is there. Hats off , again :beer :TU: :3gears:
