Carb rebuild help

I need to rebuild the Carter AFB 2bbl on my 1959 401. Anyone know of a place I can access some good instructions on how to do it right?

Hi mart27.

Any luck yet in locating a rebuild kit or a manual for that carb of yours as yet? I have a '62 LeSabre 401 that I'm trying to get running again and suspect that I have to rebuild the 2 bbl on it.

I don't suppose that Publix carries what we need. :Brow:

I found a carb rebuild kit from classicbuicks.com and it came with a great set of instructions. I also found a guy on Ebay that put together a 27 page instruction/diagram on rebuilding a Carter AFB for $3.00.
I haven't started on the carb. yet, I'm rebuilding the brakes first (I figure if I'm gonna make it go good I better make it stop just as good first!)
