Is a Pertronix electronic ignition conversion available for a 1963 LeSabre? Or is there some other brand used to convert the points to electronic ignition?

I don't see why not, sorry I can't point you toward a particular product, though. Try posting in the Nailhead forum here: http://www.v8buick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9

I don't know much about what I just bought because I am new to American cars, but my 1963 LeSabre has a Wildcat engine. So does that mean I have a Nailhead? What is a Nailhead?

If your engine is original, it's 401 cubic inch V8. That generation of engines was nicknamed "nailhead". Here's some reading:

Points and condensor work just fine

All Buick engines were called "wildcat"

Your LeSabre has a 401 with a 2 barrell carburator, unless the original buyer upgraded to a four barrell..

Welcome aboard!

You can email pertronix and they can line you out with exactly what you want for your car.

There is another guy named Dave that many on here can link you to that does HEI conversions of the original distributor for you.
I'm not against Pertronix like some of the guys on here. I know of plenty of rigs that have been running it for years with no problem, but I think that the HEI conversion is a better way to go.

I would recommend Dave's Small Body HEI's (http://www.davessmallbodyheis.com/)

He takes your standard distributor and puts in later model components to make it a breakerless system. I have one of his units and am satisfied with it. Dave's units are externally stock appearing. He does recommend a larger coil and larger plug wires.

I think the Pertronix works OK as well. I had a similar system made by Borg Warner on a 1973 Pinto and had a lot of problems with it.

Either way, however, I think you'll be very happy.

Are you having issues with your points set up or just looking to make an upgrade?
