There seized, I haven't physically seen them yet but there on there way.
I'm hoping the camera makes them look worse than they are.

The set I have for Blackie were almost that bad. They were in a flood '97? near the Mississippi, Carmen fixed them up and they ran well! The venturis and such are spec'd for the dual quad.

Hi Cliff,
Actually there not as bad as they look especially when there covered in WD40:laugh:. Any suggestions on how to un-seize them. I'm thinking about baking them to 400 deg F and cooling them, then putting them in the freezer, then spraying them the WD 40 as they warm up. Or cooking them in a pot of oil to a controlled temperature.
thanks Bruce

I had a set that bad. Sent them to Carmen and they were returned in perfect shape. Expensive but worth it.
Good luck with them.

I use a product called Kroil. It's a penetrating oil. I also apply some heat lightly with a propane torque for stubborn shafts to help get them loose....Cliff
