Can anyone help me locate a pair of trunk lid hinges for a 1957 Buick Roadmaster Riviera Model 73? The hinges on this model are a little more complicated than the hinges on a Century or a Special. Any help would be appreciated. wpruden@mts.net

I would use google. You type in 57 buick roadmaster and then hit past month. This will pull all posts like craigslist where you are likely to find parts cars, etc. It has worked for me in finding an underdash record player. I would also post a wanted ad on the hamb.

Hi - I just this week received my first copy of a Hemmings "Collector Car" magazine (they also have "Muscle Cars" and other books). . . There is a large parts classified section - including a series of catalog books and websites for parts. If you have access to a Hemmings book, it might be worth a look. :TU:
.
Seems there ought to be a clearinghouse for small parts for Buicks ? :Smarty:

The Special and Century are the same body and the Super and Roadmaster are the same body. The large cars (Super and Century) are wider and longer than the small cars. Thus the differences.

I have a Super 2 door parts car that I am disassembling and selling off what I don't need. I have the trunk hinges you are looking for. If you are interested, either send me a PM or respond to this note.

I don't want a lot of money for these hinges, but the shipping will probably be pretty high.

Is it just the hinges you need or do you need the torsion bars that separate them as well? I'm pretty sure I have the torsion bars, but that will make the shipping just that much more expensive because it requires a larger box.

UPS and Fed Ex are making a killing off the advent of Ebay and other internet businesses that require shipping.
