Dad passed tonight

about 8pm tonight my dad passed away.I had been warned 2 days ago that he was not well.The long term care put him on "comfort care".No meds except pain medication.I had been avoiding going to see him,but made the visit this afternoon to say goodbye.I allmost feel like he was waiting for me.
His pain & suffering is finally over,he can now join my mom...RIP dad,i love you!

My heart goes out to you and your family. We all have that thought of our parents eventually not being there, and we all have that sinking feeling when the thought crosses our minds. I'm really glad you got the chance to see him off, even if I don't really know you. I hope I can give that to my parents when the time comes. Hang in there man.
