Six, but 3 were 4-cylinder shoe boxes, do they count?

Only have 1 now, the Buick, and it was my second car.

I've never compiled a complete list but I know it is well over 200.
First car in 1966 was a 1950 Merc. 2dr.
Six months later I added a 1956 Nomad Sport Wagon.
I kept these two for about 3 years before I ordered a new custom chevelle S/S.
From that point I have been out of control.
I'll have to put the list together. You guys will be quite entertained I'm sure.

My dad has kept a list since 1957. The list ends at 151. I know that we probably have not updated it in at least 5 years. I would guess that we are pushing 200 by now.

1966 Buick Skylark hardtop - My first Buick, not my last!
1997 Nissan Maxima 5spd - 0-60 in 6.9 seconds, not bad for a 4 door sleeper with ugly plastic wheel covers

Since '78, first car was a mint '70 Skylark. I've had 83 more cars since. 30 or so were Buicks.

Funner yet, I've had the pleasure of test driving (but obviously not purchasing) another 200+ muscle cars.

You just don't find many '70 GTO 455 HO cars for $1800, or '70 4-speed GSX's for $2200 any more.....:(

Holy Moly, Here are the ones I remember, I am leaving out about 75 parts cars/junkers. I currently drive a $1300 Roadmaster wagon daily that looks pretty good while my friends all drive new or newer SUVs, Acuras, etc. (my wife is not terribly fond of that) This is what allows me to play with old Buicks and still feed and clothe a couple of rugrats! I have come to realize that driving 30+ miles to work every day does not call for a brand new $30000 car.

Mine's a pretty short list (definitely compared to most of you).....

1. '76 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ 400 (great car, but couldn't afford the gas in college)

2. '83 Honda Accord 5-speed (really fun to drive, could chirp third gear, dependable as an anvil, drove to Mars and back, never deviated from 33mpg, parted with when I got pickup fever)

3. '92 Ford Ranger XLT - 4cyl/5spd (really liked that truck, totalled thanks to some numbnut)

4. '90 S-10 Blazer Tahoe 4.3 (was wife's until my pickup was totalled, really fun truck, seemingly indestructible, drove until wife threatened to have it hauled off)

5. '01 Camry (don't really care for it, wife controlled that purchase in exchange for keeping mouth shut about the Buick moving in, maintenance-[while infrequent]-way too expensive)

And, of course, the Centurion... oh, yeah!

This is probably going to use up a few brain cells. 22 years of ownership, starting in 1983( I know, I am young):

1980 Ford Pinto (ran with no oil and rust on the dipstick!)

Been driving since '87. I've accumulated a few cars since then. I've had about 21 that I can think of and currently have 15. Most run, some are being restored, several are continuous projects. Need to move again for expansion- ran out of room for more buildings. I hate to leave anything sitting out in the weather other than the field cars.
Is it a sickness? My insurance company seems to think so.
Interesting topic, I've never actually sat down to make a list before today.

Now that I notice, MOST of the cars that I've owned are V8 POWERED! I never noticed that before, but I guess it's a "pattern"! That just proves that I'll ALWAYS own V8'S (no matter HOW MUCH gas costs)!:bglasses::TU:

Wow, Bruce! It's all your fault, too! I never realized, either, that I've spent over $60,000 just BUYING all these vehicles, not even including the PARTS or MAINTENANCE that they've had. So much for "saving" for the Lamborghini, I've already "wasted" 1/2 of it on these 25 OTHER cars!:Dou: From now on, I need a NEW "savings" plan (Lamborghini Fund!). No more Buicks. No more Buicks. No more Buicks. HEY, Guess what I just found today? ANOTHER BUICK! :Dou::laugh:

It's funny, when you read some of these lists, including my own, you can get a pretty good idea of the milestones in people's lives like marriage (late models) or when kids come along (mini vans)
Interesting.

Hmmmm. Let's see...........

1. 1973 Ford Galaxie 500. (Hey, I had to learn sometime!)
2. 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury Brougham 4dr. ( This car was a
cruiser. Would float down the highway at 100 easy.
North Platte NE to Scribner NE in 2 1/2 hrs. on two
lane blacktops. Saw only one state patrol!)
3. 1971 Chevrolet 1/2T P/U. (Bought it in Maryland and drove
it to Gila Bend AFAF, AZ and then to San Diego, CA and
up to L. A. when I was in the Air Farce--uh--Force)
4. 1982 Chevrolet S-10 2WD Longbed P/U (Ran a 17.61sec. 1/4
mile with a 3rd gear scratch with a stock 2.8L V-6/5spd)
:3gears:
5. 1979 Chevrolet Nova 2dr. 230 I-6 Auto. (Was actually Mom's
car but I put my share of miles on it so thought I'd include
it on the list.)
6. 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 2dr. 231 V-6 Auto. (Definitely NOT a
drag car but did get a couple speeding tickets in it on the
interstate. Also got "Bambi" one night!)
7. 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 2dr. 307 V-8 Auto. (Would do a hell
of a burn out!!)
8. 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 2.5L Auto. (Bought this one
when the 231 locked up in the Delta 88. 214,000 miles
when I "donated" it to the county for leaving it parked on
the street too long without plates!!)
9. 1984 Buick Century 4dr. 3.8L Auto. (A real electrical nightmare
due to some idiot hacking up the wiring.)
10. 1989 Buick Skylark 4dr. 2.5L Auto. (Paid $40 bucks for it and
did a valve job to it. Put over 50,000 on it. This was
probably the best car I've had for the money. And, hey,
a Buick at that!!!):Brow:
11. 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 4dr. 2.5L Auto. (Bought from a
co-worker for $75 bucks. Put a reman head on it for $65
and a set of timing gears. A real rust bucket but ran
good. Drove it for about a year and donated it to
Salvation Army.)
12. 1989 Oldsmobile Regency 98 3800 V-6 Auto. (Had all the
electronic gadgetry! A real fancy car in it's day. This is the
car Greg has that he refers to as "not a Buick but a Buick
motor.")
13. 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1L V-6 Auto. (Mama's
car! "Mama" aka "da wife." Okay! I don't really own it
but I have to work on it!!)
14. 1988 Plymouth Voyager 2.5L Auto. (Paid $50 bucks for it and
put a used head and transmission in it. Now has a
problem dying for some reason. :af: )
15. 1987 Dodge Caravan 3.0L Auto. (The Family Truckster.
Presently "comatose." Had to replace transmission as
reverse went out and now for some reason it won't
start! Stupid POS!! I think I am done with Chrysler
Minivans!!) :blast:

There ya have it. Fifteen in all. Maybe a Buick for the next one!!:Brow:

He he, feels kind of weird in this crowd.

1. 1982 BMW 320 never ran. Owned in Stockholm Sweden 1995.

2. 1978 Ford Falcon, loved it. Owned in Alice Springs Australia 2001-2002

3. 1972 Buick Centurion, sweet ride. I currently own it in Los Angeles.

My most chreished ride in the last twelve years must be my black Ciao moped. I've probably put more miles on that than any of the cars.
