does anyone know what is the widest tire you can put on an 82 regal, i have 14 inch rims on it, the other question is should i just go and get bigger rims

bigger rims. i believe that a 15 x 8 with a 3.5" back space and a 275/60/15 will fit.

I used 235/60-14 on my 86 Regal when I had it. My brother had 245/60-14's. I thought they looked a little goofy. Both size tires were on stock 14x6 Buick Rallys that came factory on the cars (not the ones from the early 70's).
