im looking at an 81 regal to fix up my 83 regal,is it possible to put the the headlights, front fascia, bumpers and taillights from my 83 to the 81? im confident that rest of the chassis and interior will bolt up but not sure about the rest.

yes, 81-87 sheet metal is all the same. the header panel is split, 81-83 are the same and the 84-87 are the same. tail lights all bolt in the same, they just have design differences. some have the split down the middle, some just have emblems like your early ones do and some have nothing. the grills and headlight bezals will only work with there same style header panel, but everything your 83 parts car has should work on the 81.:TU:

v8regalowner is right if you are talking about a 2 door. 4 door Regals use completely different sheetmetal.

My Regal is a 82, I bolted on a 87 T-type doghouse and 87 Taillights, looks like a 87 now.
1 small note tho...... when going from my 82 to a 87 doghouse the front side turnsignal bulb sockets ( the light next to the headlghts) has to be also swapped over.
81350Regal is right 2 door and 4 door totaly different, .......... However I've seen it done, an attempt at a GN station wagons, either way the door of the wagon gets a piece of a 2 door welded to the front edge to match the 2 door fenders, or the 2 door fenders get worked on to match the 4 door doors front edges. they will interchange ..... and bolt on but not look right.
