Aside of running my car out of fuel, is there any way to determine if I have a 17gal or 20gal tank? My gas gauge reads high (probably from sitting 19 years) and it was reading 1/2 full when I put 12 gallons in it today.
The car was an A/C car, 3.42 rear with 350 2bbl. I'm thinking it has a 17 gallon tank but if anyone has a way of figuring it out that doesn't involve me riding around with a 5 gallon Jerry can in the trunk, I'd appreciate it.
