it has power windows ,ac,buckets ,shifter on the floor, 455,but comes witht he original engine.
the guy said its a nice one to restore.
just wondering if there's any thing i should look for?
like any spots there might be rust or rot, that i wouldn't look?

George,
I can't find a 67 GS convert on ebay. Is it the same car I asked you about several months ago?

When i first saw this car about 7 years ago it was mint,he bought it off the same guy i bought my `67 from,i met him at a car show one night, the guy was one of those s@#t talkers,he also sold my friend a set of convertible top chrome peices that the top hooks into, turned out they were cracked,he is just one of those shifty characters thats why i told you watch out,i havent seen that car since `96 so i dont know what shape its in now but from the pics on ebay it dosent look too good,he`s been trying to sell it for 2 years but never sold, this is the ebay item # cause i dont know how to link it #2420557617,just make sure you take a good look at the car and hopefully it will be ok,the guy thinks he has gold, let me know what happens, hopefully it will be ok and you can save the car.
Thanks

Wow.... I remember this car from a few months ago.
I made a cash offer to the guy via email, and offer to take the following day off of work and come pick it up. He said it was already sold and ended the auction. He said if anything went wrong with the deal, he'd contact me since I had the "next best offer".
How did I miss it being relisted this time.
Regardless of the shape it's in, it's the same color and everything as my first Skylark I bought when I was 16. I really wanted this car badly. It would have looked great in the garage beside my first one.
Oh well.
:Do No:
Edit
Oh.... here's (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2420557617) a direct link.

After reading Michael's post here...
I don't think this is the car he went to look at.
This car doesn't have a 455, or floor shifter, or bucket seats.

The rear quarters are always rusty on convertibles, look closely at the rear wheel wells.

Hi Guys.
i did buy the 67 gs convertable,it wasn't the one on ebay.
it isn't as nice as that one, but,it had good features,or options:Brow:
buckets seats, power drivers seat.auto console on floor, with Tach ,and it worksAC, Tilt, Power Windows, power top, power steering, power brakes, star wars air cleaner, has a 455 in the car, runs great, has the original 400 tranny.also came with the original 400 engine.needs a rebuild.new brake booster, and master cylinder. it does need new fenders, and a trunk lid,and some small pieces here and there.top needs replacing:bglasses: quarters have some rust at the bottoms, trunk floor needs repair.here are some pictures.

and a 1971 Buick GS 350:ball: but,i told her i will keep my 68 skylark convertable,.

Hi Michael,
I am looking for a 67 GS convert myself and trying to get a handle on the market. To assist me in my search I hope I'm not being to bold to ask what you had to pay for this car?
Thanks
Harvey
