The lower quarters of my 1960 LeSabre 2-Door Hardtop are totally shot. I seem to remeber hearing years ago that reproduction panels for 1959 Chevrolets are very close if not the same. Can anyone confirm this? Impala stuff is cheap and available and looking at pictures the shape of the wheel arch sure looks similar. I have a set of skirts for the '60 but I wouldn't be heartbroken if I couldn't use them...

Anyone? I thought it might even have been on here that I heard that.

If I remember correctly the Chev has a different body from the Buick; - the whole trunk/rear deck assembly is shorter, so it probably wouldn't fit without a lot of modification.

Having just done the quarter patches on a '59 Biscayne, I can tell you that the patches may have well been for a Buick. They have good wheel arches if that's what you need, but they don't have super-crisp accurate lines. Depending on how much of a repair you need, they may work. Otherwise, start checking desert junkyards like DVAP.com for Buick parts. Good luck!
