Alright guys, I've searched the forum and haven't found anything discussing the two transmissions. I want to know what the pros and cons of each transmission are in your opinions. I can search google all day and hear what Chevy guys have to say, but I want some Buick opinions. The whole reason I want to know is because I'm looking to eventually put a stick in the skylark. Thanks for the input, guys. :TU:

You can get a very strong iron case super T10 (they are around but not available new from Richmond). T10s have many different ratio combinations as opposed to the two options typically found in Muncies. T10s are direct bolt in modification. I've broken mine once in 17 years - not a bad record.

I'm not extremely knowledgeable about transmissions (hence the post) but are there pros or cons for the installation for the two. Is one easier to install than the other, and are there special parts needed for one?
