OK - so everyone can get it on their calendar early - the date for the annual Portland area Buick show is set.
August 6, 2011 (a Saturday as requested) in beautiful Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver, WA.
Details and a registration form will be posted soon but I wanted everyone to have the date. This is a couple of weeks earlier than usual and moved to Saturday.
Hope to see a bigger V8 Buick presence.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all!

I don't know what I will bring (hopefully something with no roof or with AC) but I expect to be there!

okay, it's not THAT hot in WA :bla:, Drive your AC car, and I'll come up and make sure one of your convertibles make it..:3gears:
It was 100 degrees last year in a convertible, top down, no ac.:spank:
Thought you were coming up in June? You will get better weather for sure in August, plus Seafair is that time of the year, so you can watch the hyrdoplane races, etc.
You come up for either show and you can pick what car you bring (as long as it isn't the 69 gs350, lol).

I was in the same situation... convert / no AC. The 3+ hour drive home was torture. I put the top up for some relief... but still torture.
What a bunch of whinnners...i live on the east coast & it's always hotter then He** in Aug & I have my top down all the time & we have humidity to boot!

I think the key here is 'no AC'
I've whined before when the temp is hot enough to make my shorts stick... and I'll do it again if the temp gets over 80 before the AC is fixed :bla:
Other than that, we're looking forward to Vancouver again this year.
