Buick Race Day 2011

Mark your calendars, the 21th Annual Buick Race Day at Norwalk will be May 20-22, 2011. Track Open Friday from 8AM-5PM, for test and tune, gamblers race and qualifying, you will get at least 2 qualifying runs for heads up and Q16 on Friday and 2 more on Sunday Morning.
Show on Saturday at Arbys, etc.
Track will open at 8AM on Sunday, time trials will start at 8:30AM, will have V8 and V6, Quick 16, Special Turbo Races and more including 2nd Chance race.

Car & Driver: $30 Adult Spectator/Crew: $12
Gamblers Race: additional $10 Children 6 - 14 : $5
Quick 16: additional $10-pay Bill Wills

All spectators & participants will be charged an additional $12 (adult) and $5 (child) upon entrance to cover the cost of Friday Night Test and Tune. These amounts will be refunded upon exit that day until 5:00pm. Participants wishing to leave their race cars for the Saturday program will be required to purchase a Friday and Saturday admission ticket.

Gates Open 8:00am
Time Trials 9:00am-4:00pm
Qualifying: BCO Class (Buick Comp Open) 10:30am and 11:30am
2 Qualifying Sessions for heads-up classes & Q-16 11:00am & 2:00pm Eliminations: BCO Class 12:30pm
Gamblers Race (round robin) 2:30pm

2 Qualifying Sessions for TSM, TSO, THS, Q-16 10:00am & 11:30am
Ladies Race Time Trial 10:00am
Ladies Race Eliminations immediately following-“Round Robin!”

Eliminations: V6 & V8 Classes 1:30pm
2nd Chance Race tbd


Misc: BCO (Buick Comp Open) will have 2 qualifying sessions. Best run is their automatic dial in. Ran on a .500 pro tree. BCO cars must have mufflers, full interior, no electronics.

Thursday, May 19, 2011 for 3-4 nights with a special group discount of $75 + tax each night, $85+ tax each night for a Friday/Saturday stay and $89.99+ tax for a Saturday only reservation per room for a standard room with two double beds or a king. Individuals wishing to make reservations at that group rate should call the hotel directly by April 29, 2011. All room reservations need to be made by calling the hotel directly at 419-663-3501 -option 0, for the Best Western Norwalk by April 29, 2011. The hotel is open 24 hrs a day and guests should ask to make a reservation in the Buick Race Day Group.

Lets say we show up for racing on Friday and plan on coming back for Sunday racing. Will they let us keep our trailers at the track after Friday racing till Sunday?
