View Full Version : Factory harness tie ups......

Hoping someone knows how to remove these things without damaging them. They are the keepers on the radiator support that hold the harness for the side markers, parking & head lamps. Are these reusable? If not, are they available somewhere?

If you can get to the other side of the clip, you can push the center out from the back. That will allow you to reuse the clip.

There is a palce that repros these things, and I jsut saw it the other day. I cannot remember where though.

That's what I was wondering, but they are being stubborn and I didn't want to risk damaging them. If you remember the name of the place, could you let me know?

The wire ties on the core support are very short and are different then the ones elsewhere on the car. The reproductions are the longer style, so if you can save them, try.

Thanks, Duane. I noticed that. Believe me, I'm trying to, but these are being as stubborn as my 3 yr old daughter. Just don't want to pop loose.:af:

Well, Duane, I got the shorties off ok, but trying to get a couple of the big ones off the firewall didn't go so well.:laugh: You wouldn't happen to have a couple of those, would ya?
