Stage 2 Cam Question???

Has anyone street driven a TA308s cam? I mean is this cam "too hot" for any street use? If so, is there some feedback on cams, you have used that are just a little less radical, but barely streetable?:confused:

I've street driven the TA 408 s cam. It's amazing what you can do with a s-p converter set-up. JIm BUrek

Hi Guys,

I've "street" driven a TA608 Stage3 464ci with 15.47 to 1 comp. ratio and a BIG ole honkin' 1050 Dominator!!:grin: I ran it with a 4-speed Muncie and 4.30 geared Ford 9", for the street.....HARD compound radials......it's fun to "partially poke" the throttle at 100mph in fourth gear and the car starts fish-tailing (NO downshifting, NO full throttle!!!). :grin: TRACTION......WHAT's THAT???? :laugh:






Just IMAGINE driving THAT car into the parking lot at work in the morning.....:jd:
