Installed a NOS Superpowershot kit this weekend. Went down to Englishtown raceway park in NJ. Couldnt afford to run however, since test/tune was $100 on Sunday. But I will post numbers on Wendsday. My best run so far has been 14.8 all motor.

Running a 100 shot, I'm hoping for high 13's with this jetting. Is this a reasonable goal?

Test and tune was crowded so I only really got two runs in.

First pass:

ET: 14.12
MPH: 99
60ft: 2.33

Second pass:

ET: 13.85
MPH: 99
60ft: 2.11

I'm pretty sure the second pass was acurate, however there is one descrepency in the mph at the 1/8 mile. My slip reads 263 mph at the 1/8th marker. However has a reasonable 99 mph at the 1/4.

Should I count the second run, even though it has an odd mph?

Don't open the chute until after the finish line! :Brow:

I sure your slip is accurate other than the 1/8th mile mph. The timers make weird mistakes like this every once in a while, sometimes for no explainable reason.:Do No:

I'm curious about the BIG difference in 60'. Traction problems?:Brow:

 lol. Suprisingly no traction problems. My first run I was a bit nervous and didnt load up the converter (I'm running a 2400 stall) and just stabbed the gas and went. I settled down for my second run and loaded the converter up and hit the juice right after I launched. I know the car has another few tenths in her, since I'm shifting it by ear (no Tach).

This N20 stuff is quite fun :)

James,
I think you have to experiment a little with your combo, My brother had a 70 skylark 350 with a 2 barrel single exhaust and I believe a 3.08 posi gear. Stock it ran 15.30's with a 100 shot he went a 13.77!!
N2O is a beautiful thing but,you have to be very careful! It's very addicting and very easy to get Greedy:Smarty:
PS Don't blow it up!:TU:

Wow. That gives me some hope. I am however going to try and be carefull since I am running a convertible and dont want to get thrown off the track, for not having a roll bar.

Your right, it is real easy to get greedy. I'm already looking at my 150/hp jets :)
