John,
Your event rocked! Many thanks to you, Rick Martinez and Doug Hecker for a great event. It was worth the 1295 mile round trip......which was an adventure to say the least.
Sign me up for next year's event......but you have to find us a route around your $12.00 toll booths!!

OK guys, I have to ask where exactly was this $12.00 toll? I know it had to be on I95 but where?

Ouch! the 12 dollar toll is for the The Susquehanna River Bridge. The toll is only collected one way so it is really six bucks (not much better). The toll for cars is 4 bucks so you must have been pulling a 2 axle trailer? There is another way over the river but it is way out of the way and the roads are narrow and wind.
The State of Maryland thanks you for your donations
Mike

The Susquehanna and its hundreds of tributaries drain 27,510 square miles, an area nearly the size of South Carolina, spread over parts of the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland."

The Susquehanna River Bridge. Is that where the Susquehanna Hat Company is? "Slowly I crept, step by step..."

Ahh yes, the bridge. It could be avoided but it would cost alot more in fuel and time. Not only that but Conowingo Dam is pretty narrow to be dragging a trailer over. I think Rt. 40 is cheaper but it's just not worth the extra time. In the end they got ya'!
