4-Door Bracket car?

I've found a '72 Skylark in VERY good shape. It's a dry and rust-free Nevada car and probably free. I'll be snagging it for straight fenders, deck lid, glass, etc., and am considering gutting and building a bracket car out of it.. something in the low-11s range. Is that practical?

What's the weight difference?
Will a pre-fabbed 6-point rollcage fit?
What else?

Gary, I'd say go for it but do it for yourself cuz I don't think resale would be good.
The driveshaft is a little longer and it's a little heavier but not much....

There was a 4 dr 70 Skylark that was kept at our local track....it was used by anyone who broke their car and needed a ride to race. The guy that owned it was a Ford guy but cool. He said put gas in it and check the oil. It eventually rusted out but the motor suvived at least a half dozen abusers.
It has a 350/2 barrel but still ran 15.80s with the exhaust removed at the Y pipe. Impressed quite a few of the users and abusers.
The owner of it (the Ford guy) even built a 2 dr 350 Skylark that ran low 12s! Even with a FORD front plate on it and the motor painted Ford blue.

Yeah, we'd only do it for ourselves. 3 of us are considering putting something together and this car showed up. Regardless, we're trying to get it for parts. Of course, we'll keep eyes open for a 2-door. There's a mid-80s Regal for sale cheap here in town, too, so that's an option.
