Mirrors on 65 Electra 225

[Bad Boattail]

Last weekend I came across this very nice 1965 Electra 225, had a nice chat with the owner. He's convinced that the mirrors at the frontwings are factory issued, I have my doubts about that...

And what about the rear markerlights????

Erik, You are correct on both counts. The mirrors look to be an aftermarket add on type. The correct mirrors would be back on the door near the vent wing. My '64 Electra has them and it has been in the family since new.

Side marker lights did not appear until the '68 model year. Again, they look to be an aftermarket item.
