Have A Rope Seal Problem Please Help

I FULLY REBUILT MY 350, BUT THE ROPE SEAL KEEPS LEAKING. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING, FROM REPLACING THE SEAL 3 TIMES TO USING LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS, I STILL HAVE THE ANNOYING FEW DRIPS FROM MY NEW MOTER. IS THIS A COMMON PROBLEM OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG! PLEASE HELP!:(

Spend the money and order the neoprene seal for the Buick 350. Its pricey but worth it! T/A sell the front and rear neoprene seals for this motor, and they are awesome!

Larry's speaks the truth. We have built a few 350's in our days and that rope seal is worthless. The neoprene seal from TA is the way to go> I just put one in mine and so far it is fine. (knock knock)
