Hi,
I'm having a problem with "I think" the fuel delivery. At idle the car runs smooth for awhile and every so often it will stumble. When I run at highway speeds it will run decent and then it will start stumbling again. I just bought a newly rebuilt 800 cfm Rochester carb to up the performance which isn't installed yet. The stock carb hasn't been rebuilt yet so, I figure I would replace it. I also replaced the fuel filter recently. Is there anything in the carb that would restrict fuel flow after passing through the filter? I'm kinda leaning towards the fuel pump because, it's not a constant stumble that comes from the engine itself. Also, is there another filter in the gas tank that can be removed or replaced? I thought I read off another post about someone removing a filter of such. All replies will be appreciated :TU:
