head help

i recently purchased a 73 455 and 400 tranny from a salvage yard the casting #'s on the heads are 1241860. does anyone know if these are just stock heads or maybe i got lucky and thier stage 1 heads.thanks for any info, ron

If it appears to be difficult to slide a dime between the intake & exhaust (in other words the valves nearly touch each other), then you have stage 1 heads. Or you must measure the diameter of the valves.
