I think it's safe to say a majority have Buick chrome rims on their GS's and Skylarks.

Of course there are some very nice exceptions, like Chris' wheels. They do look sharp!

Here is a shot of an original stock 14" rally wheel on my 1965 GS.

It might be hard to see, but the paint isn't black. I think the color is argent, but I have seen other wheels described as being argent and the paint is almost silver in color.

Although I'd like to have some Rallye's... These wheels have really grown on me. You don't see alot of them around, even on the cars they originally came on.

I sanded the clear coat off of them (it was nasty) and put some time polishing them up. When I keep them cleen they can be really shiney...

Jeff,

Don't knock them 84 T-Type wheels.. they're the only ones that'll fot the 12" brakes without a backspace, weigh less than the steel wheels, and they definitely grow on you!
