I've done this before myself a couple of times, but it ocurred to me that it was not something everyone might have thought of:

Cut a plastic soda bottle in half, and you have an instant funnel.

The 2-liter ones are better because they have a wider diameter, but even the usual 20oz ones will do in a pinch. Either one fits great in an oil filler hole, and also fits snugly enough to use around the top of a transmission dipstick tube. If they get nasty, throw them out.

Works well in the kitchen too. The 2-liter size is perfect for pouring rice, sugar, flour, beans, etc. out of the bags they come in and into storage canisters. They seem to hold up fine in the dishwasher too.

If you cut the bottom off a gal milk container, then you have a funnel with a handle.

Metal funnels bend out of shape.......milk bottles are too flimsy........hmmmmmm, soda bottles........what a good idea!:Brow: Here in New York state they only cost 5 cents. :af:

Skip has just described the most common fishing boat urinal. Avoids leaning over the side and falling in.

Cut on a diagonal and you can use it to bail the boat too. Best part is the handle.
