Fellow Buick Enthusiests:
I have noticed Mid-Fifty's Buicks with either Black or Red Steel Wheels. Was this a Factory Option? or where the rims painted the same color as the car? Black is basically Black. Does anyone Know what color Red was used?

1956
If your talking about 1956, 2 reds were used.
(1) Claret Red..paint #G162-14694
(2) Seminole Red..paint #G94-58785
1955 and 1957 are different. If you need the codes let me know.

Good question........
I would say yes depending if the option came on the vehicle.
Otherwise the "optional" wheel color for all 1958 was
Seminole Red code #G94-58785.
Also, the "optional" wheel color was different for each year.
