Racing in ohio!!!

Arrived in norwalk at 10 am today-beautiful track! my car picked up over .30 (3 tenths) from vegas but lost a tenth in the 60 foot!! if i can find that tenth ill be close to the 12s!! car is runing perfect, i made 6 passes, but couldve made 60 had i wanted to. buick racers had track rental until 4 pm then another group was coming in, got to see the 5 and 50 1965 Hemi coronet SS/BA clone raced by tom orlando-very cool car and it ran a 9:17-146. the race between john zeruca and doug hecker was great. I met doug, john and his dad, frank mcintyre, reacquainted with bruce hunter, casey marks from the pure stock group, JIM WIESE, TOM RIX!! perry carlini, phil (the cook) sedlon, and many others-what a great group-what a great time!! cant wait for tomorrow and the rest of the weekend. hopefully i can last a few rounds against this group of tough competitors.

Wow! 0.3 improvement on your first day.. cool. Get them 12s pal.
Have you done anything to the car over the winter or are you chalking it up to air/elevation?
Anyone giving out air density elevation? It was 3900' in Vegas last year.

Can't help thinking I'd be sneaking up on 11s if I was there... oh well.

gary-didnt touch the car since vegas-same everything. gotta be elevation, i believe. BBsam, did your car pick up here over vegas?? i might actually borrow a timing light and open my hood here today. or not. you know how i hate to work on my car. ill post tonite if i find any 60 ft improvements.

Scott never unpacked his cars for the runs too!!!!! He probably had an extra 100 lbs in his trunk.

I was hoping to pull a couple more 11 second runs outta the Norwalk track this weekend. Car only made it off the trailer once on Friday to do a couple hot laps, then right back on the trailer due to the rain. Big Bummer!

BBSam....guess the rain came since you weren't here to brighten it up :)
