What did they go for in order #1. --about $160 plus shipping. Is G60-15 correct for a 70 GSX as the original eqipment. I think they were Goodyear in 70 and not Firestones. What is your understanding?

You are correct, the GSX came from the factory with the G60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT RWL tires. They were also available on the GS 455 and stage 1 cars.
This Tire purchase is for all sizes of the GT's not just the G60-15.

Group tire order was placed yesterday. The guys that ordered should start receiving tires in the next couple of days. Please let me know when they arrive.

Do you know what brand came on the 1972 Stage 1 cars? I prefer the Goodyear Polyglass, but was wondering what they came with.

How often do you place an order? What is the price for a set of G60-15's?

Do you or anyone else know if anyone will be selling them at the BCA event in Plano next week?

I'm no expert on the 71-72 cars but I'm sure Marco is correct about all G60-15's being the Goodyear Polyglas GT. I know some of the GS's came (71-72) with the Firestone Wide Oval but they were 14". Email me your address w/zip and the quantity of tires and I'll get a price quote for the Goodyear G60-15.

Another original tire supplier:My 70 Stage 1 came with 14" raised white letter Uniroyal Tiger Paws...

Mr. Big, I didn't know that GS's ever came with Uniroyals. I assume those are 14" and not 15". I did some searching and found that no one is reproducing the Uniroyals, just the Firestone Wide Ovals in 14". Has anyone else ever seen a GS with original Uniroyal RWL tires?

Don't know about the GS, but I know the Skylark in '72 came with Uniroyals, as my Dad owned one so equiped.
