Heres the scoop. The car is not mine, although I wish it was. This car is gorgeous. I know these people personally I went out with their niece for a few months. Theyre really nice people and both are really into cars. The have a 70's GTO, a 73 Century project car, and a Corvair at their nieces house. I cant say enough about this car. It was well kept. Came from California a few years ago. 86K original miles. Its a beauty check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2477459925&category=6418&sspagename=STRK%3AMESSE%3AIT&rd=1

Whats the deal? Is this car not really desirable or something. This car is amazing. Is it because its a foor door? I guess Ill just put in the Ebay section.

Guess 4 doors don't sell so well. What was his reserve out of interest?
I always liked the stack-light Pontiacs.

Looks like it sold for $2500 which is exacly what I would say it's worth. Four door survivors make great parts cars hopefully that one will stay in service.

Beautiful car! I have to agree the 4 door is a real penalty. I've got a solid 64 4 door chevy I can't give away! Plus, its a full size, not a Bonneville, GTO, convertible, etc....

Is your 4 dr Chevy an Impala? The sum of the parts on a 4dr typically are greater than the value of the complete car.

I agree. That's about what I ended up with when I sold my 71. I think the bumpers, grill, fenders, dash and instrument cluster as parts were probably worth a little more than I got for the whole driving car. It just was too nice to want to cut it up.

I had a very solid '64 4dr Wildcat that I only got $1500 for(was hoping to get $2500). It was too nice for me to part but destined to be a parts car...
