Thanks...I still have to finish the exhaust...I don't know if I should just put stainless steel tips on that exit out the rear or cut them off and hide them under the body? What do you think?

That is a SWEET looking RIDE!:TU: I Think some nice tips sticking out the rear would look cool........:bglasses: ........Plus it helps keep he car cooler when you have them sticking out. The trunk floor will not get as warm nor will you build up condensation under the car and rear fenders, I know it sounds weird but my buddy who owns a body shop told me that your exhaust system can cause condensation to build up on the trunk floor and along the inside of the body panels because of the water that forms and runs down the inside of the rear panels. Cool air+ hot exhaust= condensation
Nice job!........you are gonna look  riding around!

I think the 68 has one of the nicest styled rears, great horizontal lines. I'd look for some of the wide and thin exhaust tips, like the late model Camaro. Something that keeps the square lines of the rear of the car.
Like style T823 on this page http://www.truckxpressions.com/truckaccessories/exterioraccessories/exhausttips.htm
If you wanted to get fancy you could get the version that doesn't have the rolled edge and trim it to match the angles of the bumper.

Thanks all for the nice feedback...I think I will try to put some tips on that kinda look like the (gasp) chevelle type tips out the rear!

That is one handsome car.
The color is very cool.
I would put factory appearing pipes on if it were my car.
It will look great either way!:TU:

That is one beautiful car!
The one thing I would watch is the exhaust rubbing the bumper. I'm not sure if the heat and vibration would take too kindly to it.

Sweet!!
Do you have a high res version of the first pic you could send me? That's desktop material and inspiration to get my chubby butt in gear and make some progress on my 69 rebuild.
