carb id problems [Archive]

I have recently acquired (well, one today:Dou: ) two carbs that are correct for my 71: 7041544. It seems that they are different from each other... which is correct? This one?

Well, that one looks better for sure. How can they both have the same number? And it's not smudged or anything on either card... they are both 7041544...

The air horn (top of the carb) can be swapped out from various years. That one on the right looks really odd though. I've never seen a qjet like it. So the carb body (the part with the number stamped on it) could be the same. OR, it could've been restamped.
