Will this work or no?

When I bought my car it only had a 2.73 one legger rearend in it, when I would stab it off the line it would spin the tire non-stop/forever.
Now I've got a 3.55 posi and a set of lakewood no-hop bars, although my tractions alot better I still spin the tires for about 45+ feet when I gun it.:Do No:

Would it be Ok if I put in boxed control arms or some of those lakewood traction action, traction bars, along with my no-hop bars? Would I gain traction or would there be no gain at all or would I just start breaking stuff?

Another thing I was thinking about doing if my other idea wouldn't work would be to box in the lower control arms my self and put in some poly or billet aluminium bushings, would a set-up like this improve my traction?

Im not concerned about chassis stiffness or ruff handleing I just want the most traction I can get.

Buy yourself some Nitto or BFG drag radials. You'll probably barely squeek the tires with those on it. Polygraphite busings should be good in your application. The lakewood bars are OK, they are what I am using. If you are really serious you might consider using the southside machine bars. they give you a higher instant center and should work better in theory.

One big improvement if you haven't done it already is to ( at the track! ) remove the front swaybar. It will definately help with weight transfer.

I would have to ask you what kind of tires you are running because with a 350 you shouldn't be spinning that much. I agree 100% with Adam, you won't spin the tires he has suggested to add even without doing anything else. My Stock appearing SunCoupe with a 455 has a rear sway bar and that is it (original 100,000 mile bushings and stock non-boxed lowers) and runs's in the low 13's on lousy steel belted radials.
