Tire size question [Archive]

I was looking for advice on what is the best size to use on the back with factory 15x7 rims. I would like to go as large as I can as long as it safely fits the rim and looks good. 275-50's or 275-60's maybe? Brian

Either size will fit, but the 275/60 will be 28" tall while the 275/50 will be about 25.8" tall. This will affect your final drive axle ratio and speedo accuracy.

Thanks Larry. I will have to calibrate my speedo anyway because I changed rear axle ratios an it is reading high right now.
