Baring any unforseen problems, I'm going to come up a day early and run in Norwalks Sat. program. Is anyone else thinking of doing the same? If so, we should try and pit together. Gary K.? The Pain clan?

I was thinking about coming up and running Renee's car on saturday, since she will be running it on sunday. I think that there is a couple other people that were talking about it too. I will know more as it gets closer (as long as i dont have to work on that saturday).

Cool, hope you can make it.

I'll probably go out there on Saturday too. We have a challenge from the track officials to get some Buicks to take some Norwalk $$$$ on Saturday night!!

I will be there to race on Saturday probably both Mod and Top. I would consider it a waste of a long trip to only race Sunday, see you all there.

Amy and I are coming down friday to relax a little and race. If i have to race you this time I'm going to step on the brakes not just lift. Sorry I missed you after we raced but I wanted to put my carb on Ketchum's car and see what happened. I was glad to see it step up some with a 8.92 at 152. I think the next time out we are going to lean on it a little and see what happens. He was shifting it at 6500 and going through at 6800. peak should be around 6900 based on the cam so well see what happens hopefully no boom.

Hey Bobb,
I'm looking forward to seeing you at Norwalk so we can discuss that last race. :) I started watching you around 800' or so, and even though you where pulling on me I thought there is no way in the world he's even gona be close to catching me. Then coming up on 1000' your car took off like it was hit in the rear by a semi!!!!!!!!! If I didn't know better I'd swear you sprayed the lips off it. I remember thinking "I'm screwed". I don't think I've ever seen anyone dump like 20 mph and still break out 8 hundredths (don't quote me on the numbers).
You guys got the last laugh when one of your Finishline cars spanked me in round 2. :spank: Got get me some of those stickers someday.

I think everyone can plainly see, that Dave's green light is greener than my green light. Dave cut a perfect .500.
Thanks a lot Roberta :moonu: :)

Dave, and everyone, Friday Night at Norwalk is Test and Tune we are also very invited to attend. I plan on being at Norwalk on Friday also, not sure if I will go to the track Friday, depends on if I find some new hides for the rear axle before then, or whether the Buick RaceDay God(BW) puts me to work. BTW, the goodie bags are built and stored at the Best Western, the door prizes are in a box here, with the payouts, and BW has the special payouts from vendors, so everything is in order to make Buick RaceDay a great event. T-shirts will be for sale from '03 and '04, no 3X's, all gone. XXL limited, XL's lots, $15 each. Hope to set up the tent in front of the stands as usual, with the same great group selling them, if they are not Racing! (Robin, Alison, Sharon, etc)

That is an awesome picture! The timing is perfect. :TU:
I will be there Friday and I can't wait to unleash my new found power at Norwalk. Is it enough for the Quick 16?:Do No: We shall see...

Jeffs new found power may not be enough to put him in quick 16 but definately enough to keep me out. I will be playing in bracket 1 again at Norwalk, would be nice to expand the 16 to 32 or split the power adder cars from the natural cars and have 16 of each. I still think the quick classes are the easy money at these races, lots of cars that worry about being fast not being good race cars for the brackets. Bracket 1 and 2 are the tough ones in my opinion, would be nice to see more money for the lower brackets, they have to go more rounds for the win. I proved in Salem that any duck can make it 4 rounds for the win in quick 16 but it gets tough to keep your head after 6 or 7 rounds. My lights kept getting slower through the day with a .511 first round to a .555 in the final, 7 rounds would have put me in the .600s somewhere at that rate. Would also be cool to have a race of champions at the end of the day with all of the winners squaring off for a champion of the race, a 15 second street car knocking off an 8 second quick 16 car. Norwalk rocks no matter what and I don't plan to ever miss this race, see you all there.

I think that Stephanie took that pic with my camera, she definitely has a knack for getting the great pics, maybe cause she did do a little drag racing many yrs ago? And her videos of BG are pretty good too, she only got a few minutes of Saturday racing at the BPG thing cause the battery went dead on my camcorder, but I have fixed that, and have two brand new 4 hour batteries for Norwalk and Pure Stock and Cecil County, and several new tapes!
Just need her or someone to run the camera, I guess, she will probably be at Norwalk, not sure about the rest of the events, though, vacation time is a problem for some, not me! THough! This year! See you all soon, R
