It seems it's gotten awfully quiet here in this forum for a while, so I just want to start a fire here! :) Just as lots of us give updates with our cars, I just want to give an update of what new direction my life is taking starting next month.

This fall I'll be starting my first year at Great Lakes Bible College in Waterloo, Ontario. My heart's desire is to become a full time preacher of the gospel of Jesus, and I'm excited and looking forward to starting this endeavor. Personally, I can't see any other path that my life *should* take. I'm not saying that I have no choice in what I want to do, but rather that this seems like the most profitable thing I can do with my life. Obviously, this isn't the answer for everybody, but it's what I feel I need to do. John 4:35 speaks a lot to me! (and, of course Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15) :)

Although I've still got my LeSabre, and it awaits an engine swap and gears, that project will most likely go on hold indefinitely as I pursue higher things. Perhaps next summer it'll start to take shape, and I'll be able to make it to Salem! :)

God Bless everyone of you, and lets keep this forum alive! :)

Yeah it has been a little quiet lately. I think alot of folks do the praying and its not always necessary to respond here. Either that or my sermon sent them all running! So your gonna become a student of the Bible. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!! If I was a youger man heading to college, I'd do it in a second. But unfortunatley, I spent my youth being marched to catholic church and never once being taugh a thing about Christ by my parents. I guess they think saying they go to church is good enough. Sad. Luckily one of my roomates in the Army was a pentecostal minister. And so the seed was planted. So good luck and God bless you on your journey.:TU:

Good luck Glen. Stay focused. The enemy WILL try to trip you up.

Thanks for the encouragement Dan and Adam! :) I have already felt the enemy trying to trip me, Adam. It's not fun, but thankfully I know I have Jesus, the example and strength (Philippians 4:13), and my amazing, most wonderful girlfriend who supports me! :)
