I know somebody on the board has done this:
Redrill, the cross member and move the engine mounts back a couple inches, then do the same to the tranny, and order a new driveshaft.
What is all involved, and how did you go about alinging the block correctly?
Seems like it would work wonders for traction, and if my calculations are correct, at 3" the chassis would have to use 138 Lb. Ft. less to lift the front end off the ground, and it would be like shifting 89 lbs towards the center of the car, and only about 49.6% of the weight would be on the front wheels compared to around 53.7%.
Am I right in my thinking, maybe somebody who really knows can set me strait:Smarty:
