However, if there's another that you know of with a good supply of older cars (Buicks preferably) I'd go there too.

12 hr. workdays...damn! Whenever is good for you is fine. I haven't gone yet, kinda put it in the back of my mind for the moment, but honestly anytime is good. Next weekend is good I think. I'll let you know for sure, but tentatively it sounds good. At one point, I'm probably going to go down near Indiapolis to get a power window setup from one of the other board members. If we go to the junkyard before then (which I'm guessing is how it's going to happen) I think I'll try and grab a few extra power window parts just in case the other set up has some faults.

Y'aarrrgggg!!! This sucks cos I want to go tomorrow, but I can't! :( My fiance would crucify me if I did (cos I went down to indianapolis today for car stuff, and two days in a row...oh man... :af: <--fiance) I have to finish grouting the bathroom cos she's totally flipping out about it. I guess she wants to do some crazy thing like take a shower in it or something...crazy women with their crazy showering.

So on that note, do you want to set a date for some weekend in October and just go for it then? Columbus day is not good, but I believe any other one would be. By the way, what were you looking to get? I may be able to get a minivan to haul crap if I need to.

I'm familiar with the Camp Douglas yard. Let me know when would be good to go up there. A wed or fri might be best. Carl has a lot of mid 60's Buicks & Olds, mostly B-bodies. A large group of GTO's (some are very picked over), I also found a ratty '70 GS 350 last time I looked. This week might be best as it will be getting colder and rainy by friday.

Sounds good. Let me know about Friday, no rain but kinda cold (no ticks!). Carl is a little odd, prices are "flexable", if he see's an IL plate, the price will reflect it. I'm relitively local, and have an ok relationship with the guy. So maybe we can get good pricing. He also has just come up with a new policy of looking at what your pulling to determine price, before it's pulled. If the price sounds high, don't pull the part.

Last time I went I got a dicast '72 grille, good shape but kinda pricey.

htere are the 2 yards on hwy 18 by sullivan.
one is called jacks auto, they can be very unreasinable
and then on the west side of town on 18 is auto and truck salvage and parts and they are very easy to deal with.

the other 2 are between madison and milwakee on hwy 94 to sullivan.
wapun is 40 minites from me
