BigEngine?

I bought a 63 Riviera and would like to know which engine it has in it? the 401 or 425.

It has a 4 barrel carb. and only the Wildcat decal on the air cleaner.

Does the decal say 445 or 465? A friend of mine just picked up a 66 425 nailhead - had the 465 on the decal.

I would post any other nailhead questions in the 'Nailhead' section, just below the small block section.

No Decal

Look at the front of the motor just in front of the valley cover. There should be some letters stamped. Mine says MT which means it's a 401. The 425 should have an MW or an MZ - I think.
